(January, 2016) KanHan Technologies Limited (KanHan) has always been a trusted partner of the HKSAR Government. In the Onset of 2016 we are honored to be invited by The Department of Health and The Commission on Poverty in the creation of modern accessible and responsive design campaign.


Information would not reach far if we do not cater to everyone in HK; with decade of experience in accessibility, KanHan is able to provide accessible version for other stakeholders of different needs. Our responsive design is tailor-made to the match the diversity of display formats, sizes and mobile systems arises in order to deliver a coherent presentation to every users. Both of the sites are built to and in progress of Level AA conformance to WCAG 2.0.


As part of the three-year Joyful@HK campaign to stress the importance of mental health, the launch of ceremony was officiated by Chief Secretary Carrie Lam, Secretary for Food & Health Dr. Ko Wing-Man. Local superstar Sammi Cheng was invited as the ambassador sharing her experience as well. Respectively, To improve public awareness and establish a communication channel with the HK residence about the growing retirement concern, The Commission on Poverty had commissioned KanHan to create a web portal as part of the Public Engagement Exercise on Retirement Protection. We are able to submit their opinions and concerns for the future of the ourselves and others.


Last but not least, both of the sites are implemented with our in-house HanWEB translational server for the purposes of catering for both Cantonese and Mandarin speaking community uses. It provides a plug-and-play implementation between Traditional and Simplified Chinese characters, saving precious copywriting, editing and publishing time cost; it is one of the most-trusted solution in the market powered by KanHan.
